There are times that you will want to enter a grade for a quiz that has not been submitted by the student. e.g., you printed the quiz for students to take in class and turn in on paper. Or the student didn't submit the quiz online, but you want to enter a grade for the quiz.
✨ Pro-Tip: A new attempt is created for the student when you force grade a quiz.
Individual Gradebook View
You can force grade a quiz by entering the grade into the point box or selecting a grade from the drop-down menu.
Enter the total points earned for the quiz in the point box. The grade will post to the gradebook when you click the tab key, click enter, or click outside the point box.
Hover over the down caret to open the grading drop-down menu. Click to select a grade.
