You can easily add your children and other students to your course.

How to add students to your course

There are several ways to add students to your course. Follow the instructors below depending on which student is joining your course.

First, select the course you want to invite students to join. Next, go into course settings and double-check that your course is published. If your course is not published, click the Publish button.

Once you publish your course, go to the People page. You are now ready to add students to your course.

  1. Add yourself as a Student

Viewing your course as a student allows you to preview your course before inviting students to join your course.

  1. Click the plus button on the top right of the People page.

  2. Select Add Family Members from the drop-down menu.

  3. In the pop-up, toggle on the toggle next to your name.

You are now a student enrolled in your course.

You will see you have two roles in course course, an instructor role and student role.

2. Add your child to your Course

You can quickly add your own child to your course as a student.

  1. Click the plus button on the top right of the People page.

  2. Select Add Family Members from the drop-down menu.

  3. In the pop-up, toggle on the toggle next to your child's name.

Now your child is a student in your course. You'll see your name next to your child's because you are also enrolled as a parent.

Pro-tip: Parents are automatically added to your course along with their children.

3. Invite Students to Join your Course

You can invite students to join your course with the Join Course Codes.

  1. Click the plus button on the top right of the People page.

  2. Select Invite Students from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Copy Code to copy and paste the code students will need to join your course in the pop-up. Paste this code and send it to your students via email, SMS, Skipper messaging, or any other means of communication.
